- To make baatis add flour, salt, ghee, baking soda and make a dough and divide in into 5 equal parts..
- Take 1L water in a pan and boil. take 1 part of the dough and smooth it by hands and press in the center with thumb and make a depression..
- Cook these dough balls in boiling water till bubbles appear on their surface. after cooking they will start to float on the surface of the boiling water. take them out of the boiling water and heat the oil for frying..
- Cut the boiled dough balls into 2-4 pieces and fry til golden brown on sim. they are ready to serve with the panchmel dal..
- To make churma take the cooked baatis and grind it in mixture grinder..
- Take another pan and add 2 tbs ghee and ground baatis into it. roast till golden brown. put it aside and let it cool..
- Add cardamom and rock candy sugar (mishri) into it and mix well. garnish with dryfuits and serve with dal and baati..
