Now add two cup of water in the idli maker.add soda in the idli batter and mix it well.if the batter is looking to be thickened add water in it and mix it well.now grease the idli stand with oil put some idli batter in it now spread moong dal masala on the batter and cover the masala with the idli batter..
  4. Now steam the idli in the idli maker for 10-15 minutes and check the idli with a toothpick.if the toothpick comes out clean off the gas. When the idli gets cool take it out from the idli stand..
