- Use 2 cups of cooked rice.
- Use 2-3 tbsp of lemon juice.

Steps to make Lemon rice:
- Cook the rice with salt and cool it. Sprinkle lemon juice and 1 tsp oil and mix and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, when hot add chana dal and urad dal fry till golden,add mustard seeds & allow to crackle,add the chopped chillies,red broken chillies, curry leaves,chopped ginger & hing.
- Saute and then add haldi powder mix well and pour this to the cooled lemon rice. Mix evrything very well. While serving garnish with cashewnuts.
