The ingredients needed to make Sabut Masoor Daal:
- Get 1 cup of black masoor daal.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of tur daal.
- Use 1 big of chopped onion.
- Prepare 1 of tomato.
- Prepare 2-3 of green chillies.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- You need 1 tsp of Ginger garlic paste.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- Provide 1 tsp of Jeera powder.
- Use as needed of Curry Leaves.
- Get 1 tsp of Red Chilli powder.
- Use as needed of Corriender leaves chopped.
Instructions to make Sabut Masoor Daal:
- Pressure cook washed daals with ginger garlic paste, onion, tomato, green chillies and turmeric powder.
- Cook till daal is soft then grind it lil bit with a hand grinder.
- For tempering.. In hot oil or ghee add garlic minced let it turn light brown then add curry leaves, jeera powder and red chilli powder.. Add to the daal.
- Then add lots of chopped corriender leaves.. Let it cook for a lil while.. Ready !!.
