The ingredients needed to prepare Lemon mahamri:
- Prepare 300 g of all purpose flour.
- Get 1 tsp of instant yeast.
- Provide 2 tsp of milk powder.
- Take 3 tsp of oil cooking oil.
- Provide 1 pinch of salt.
- Prepare 80 g of sugar(I used castor sugar).
- You need 1 of lemon zest.
- Get 1/2 cup of warm milk.
- Take 1 of egg.
Steps to make Lemon mahamri:
- Prepare your ingredients.....mix flour, milk powder, lemon zest + salt in a bowl/ basin....set a side.
- Mix yeast, oil and sugar in the milk...stir let it rest for 3mins......make a whole Inthe middle of the flour.....pour your milk and knead till it makes a dough now transfer to a flat surface and continue kneading some more for about 5mins.
- Oil your basin and put your dough and also oil your dough........cover with a clinc film or aclean dumb cloth......let it proof/double in size for 1hr in direct sunlight or a warm place.
- Now that it has doubled......cut small pieces and make them round.......roll out each piece.
- Cut into 4pieces......fry in medium hot oil....till golden brown....
- Now serve with, tea, milk, juice......I like mine with lemon black tea.......enjoy!.
