- Smear little salt on chicken and set aside for half hour.Heat oil and fry chicken pieces lightly in batches.In the remaining oil sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala,black pepper and bay leaf.When they crackle,add kalonji and cumin seeds, chopped onion, 1 tsp grated ginger,minced garlic and fry till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste,dry masalas,tomato puree,curd,salt to taste and fry..
