The ingredients needed to prepare Yamballs 😋:

  1. You need of Cooked yam.
  2. Prepare of Grated onions,scotch bonnet.
  3. Take of Eggs.
  4. Take of Sardines.
  5. Provide of Seasoning and spices (maggi,royco,curry,garlic,cinnamon).
  6. Get of Oil for frying.
  7. Prepare of Ketchup (for dipping).
  8. Provide of Parsley flakes (for garnishing).

Instructions to make Yamballs 😋:

  1. Mash your cooked yam as seen in the picture, add grated or diced onions and scotch bonnet (attaruhu). Add your seasonings and spices then mix until everything is combined.
  2. Add sardines and mix.
  3. Take small portion of the yam mixture and make a ball,repeat it till you’re done with all.
  4. Whisk your eggs with garlic powder,then dip each yam ball in the egg and fry in a hot oil under medium heat.
  5. Fry until it turns golden brown,then strain and sprinkle some parsley flakes for garnishing.
  6. I served mine with ketchup as a dipping sauce. You can eat your yamballs with or without any sauce. Enjoy 😋.
